If I add an extra parameter in the JSON while calling the Skillsoft API, will I receive it in the response?

I am from X organization, and we are using the Skillsoft API to launch courses. We are passing certain parameters and receiving them correctly. Recently, due to changes in the technical flow, I added a new parameter while calling the status tracking API, but I am not receiving that parameter in the response. What should I do to resolve this?
